At a gorgeous pub in Moss Vale, Mr and I were tipped off about Tulip Top Gardens by some fellow travellers. Just outside Canberra, off the Federal Highway, we discovered that it was an oasis of flowers and a total visual spectacular. It is so secluded and hidden from the road, that you would never know it was there ~ like a real life secret garden. Did I mention that they also served free sausage sizzles and devonshire teas... Perfection!

On the road again...
It feels nice to be back in the land of blog, however bittersweet as Mr and I are sad that our holiday road trip is over. The next few posts will be highlights from our trip. No. 1 ~ Berrima ~ a storybook village in the New South Wales Southern Highlands. As you will see the houses were all perfect...not most, all!

Buddhas and pom poms!
Love...my white ceramic buddha.
Also love...Martha Stewart tissue paper pom poms. I have seen them all over blog land and had my first attempt at one tonight (as seen next to my buddha). So easy and sooo simple. I feel they will be a bit like Pringles...once you start, you just can't stop!
Someone's junk is another's treasure...
I spotted these side tables on a neighbour's nature strip the other week when there was a council clean up. I dragged Mr out with me in the dark to grab them and I just love them.

...your friends make your world.
On a recent trip to Chicago, my close friend Sarsha, popped into the Anthropologie store. Knowing that it is my favourite shopping mecca...she surprised me with a few goodies that I just had to share...

Pretty peg dolls
A few pretty peg dolls that I create from time to time...inspired by the wonders of Lollipop Workshop (check out their etsy store!). I have to purchase the supplies online from stores in the US. Phat Fabric and Pretty Ditty etsy store are good places to start.
